I've just implemented the reCAPTCHA "I'm not a robot" test to registrations and posts. This should help prevent unwanted spam posts to the site and have only minimal overhead on the good human posters.
However, this does mean we'll all have to send a little more data to Google for them to tell us apart from the bots. Therefore, I've updated the privacy policy to mention this usage. Nothing too scary there, they look if you've used Google services lately and what type of device you're using etc., (and that only when you click on that checkbox). But thought you should know.
